We got today off from work so we decided to have dim sum. Everything tasted fresh and very yummy. Nice to know I don't need to travel to Monterey Park to have dim sum.

After reading the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. The place in Irvine was actually closer to where we were staying but the reviews were better in Chino Hills than Irvine. So, off we went. The restaurant is long and narrow, but is very comfortable with dark wooden booth seats lining the walls and windows. Bear statues stand in light gray cubbies mounted on the upper wall as well, with a light-up sign saying "Tasty Dim Sum" next to it and the counter being nearby too. We were immediately seated after arriving. We were given a menu and told to write down what we wanted: #15 garlic spareribs steamed rice #30 pan fried leeks pork cake #32 beef rice roll #36 mushroom, pork & shrimp rice roll #37 preserved egg and pork porridge #50 yu choy sum The way they presented the teapot and cups was very elegant. The teapot and cups are glass and it was served on a small wooden board. We never had tea presented in this way before and daughter loved it. Everything was pretty good. But, be careful when the bill comes. We almost got overcharged on the beef rice roll. Hubs caught it and we had to bring it up with the waiter, who said it was an accident. Other than the bill incident, service was pretty quick and friendly.

Finally checked out a dim sum place in chino hills! We ordered pineapple egg custard bun, bbq pork bun, fried seaweed shrimp, and shu mai. Our favorite was the shu mai since the pork had so much flavor! The bbq pork bun was not bad but wish there was more meat filling inside! The seaweed shrimp order was a bit too oily for me but first bite was good, so if you like fried stuff it is good. The pineapple egg custard has a nice taste as well but I wish there was more custard in the inside. It was interesting that the filling contained pineapple though! Service is quick, and servers are attentive. Not as much seating inside so we had to wait about 20 minutes on a Sunday to eat lunch.

Just discovered this local spot near my apartment the other day and decided to give it a try. I ordered takeout, and they were quick with my order, which I appreciated. The dim sum was good overall. There's a good amount of parking outside, so that was convenient. They didn't include any condiments--not even soy sauce or chili sauce--which I assumed would be standard at a dim sum spot haha. Overall, it's a solid place!

Easy parking in a strip mall setting. The service here is fast and efficient. The servers are welcoming. They have a limited number of options, but everything on the menu tastes above average. The highlight was the Braised Beef Daikon, the meat was a flavorful bomb, that was juicy, perfectly balanced by the Daikon. The budding toddler yelper also really enjoyed the pineapple buns. Overall worth a look and more if you are into dim sum.

Was craving for some Dim Sum. Found this place while driving around. Restaurant is nice and clean. After we were seated, they gave us a menu and an ordering sheet. We ordered the following items: 1. Steam Shrimp Dumpling 2. Leek Shrimp Dumplings 3. Pan Fried Daikon Cake 4. Wonton Noodle Soup 5. Yu Choy Sum (Poached Green Vegetable) I enjoyed the Wonton Noodle Soup. And the Dim Sum items weren't bad either. Although the foods were good, probably won't be returning any time soon due to their higher prices, compares to other Dim Sum places.

Went on a Friday morning. Relatively small restaurant. There was only one worker and I did not receive any tea or water during my quick meal. Food came out pretty quick. The food was delicious and tasted fresh. The shrimp rice roll was cooked perfectly and has a good firm bounce. The shiu mai and shrimp dumplings were solid. Our favorite was the pan fried daikon cake. It has a good crisp outside and the inside was soft. The lava egg yolk bun was baked well and has a good filling.

We had great experience dining in here. The standout for us was definitely their pineapple buns with custard filling, which are hard to find with real pineapple chunks these days. These buns were just the right balance of flavor--not too sweet but absolutely delicious. The egg tarts were also very good. The braised beef with daikon was another highlight (forgot to take a picture of it). Though a bit on the pricey side, the generous portion and perfectly cooked, flavorful beef made it worthwhile. The daikon was tender and slightly sweet, bringing a nice balance to the dish. We also tried the shrimp dumplings and shrimp rice rolls, both of which tasted fresh and high quality. The menu isn't overly large, but it covers a nice range of popular Cantonese dim sum items. Business seemed steady too; even during off-hours on the weekend, we noticed people coming in for takeout. Overall, we really enjoyed the quality here, even if it's a bit pricier than some other spots.
